LNI 4.0 is a pre-competitive and non-profit association
Our association was founded by companies in the Industry 4.0 platform together with the associations VDMA, ZVEI and Bitkom was founded in 2015 and supports German SMEs in their pioneering role in digitalization. As a member, you can get to know and try out new technologies, innovations and business models in Industry 4.0 test centers and check their technical and economic feasibility before they are launched on the market. Our cooperating test centers (link) offer an ideal environment - without competitive pressure and with minimal financial and technical risks. You also have the option of the validated results from your Use cases
in the standardization process. Our association works alongside the Industry 4.0 platform with the Standardization Council Industry 4.0 (SCI4.0) together. This ensures compatibility between competing products and solutions. The interaction of the three organizations forms a responsive process of strategy and conception, testing and standardization. The basis on the path to Industry 4.0 are the use cases of our members. These are used to generate market-relevant knowledge transfer.
